Having a Stressful Week? A Few Tips To Make it Manageable

This week has been busier than usual. I will be flying out on Friday to meet my Diamond Mastermind business group and spend the weekend learning and having fun in San Diego. (I hope it will be warm and sunny.) This means three days away from my family. Plus this past week I’ve felt like I’ve been on a whirlwind ride of always in “go go mode”.

My sister offered to take my son on Saturday with her and the kids to some Easter activities and I thought awesome I can get some work done. I’ve been feeling overwhelmed and stressed with so much more on my plate and preparing for my trip that this will help me catch up. Now, I’m feeling guilty about my son spending the day with my sister and her family. I know the sacrifices I’m making now will allow me to have more flexibility and spend more time with my son and family. I just need keep things in perspective and practice my deep breathing to relieve stress.

Here are few more things I do to make a stressful week more manageable:

1. Don’t drop my normal exercise routine I will need the additional energy it gives me. Plus its an awesome stress reliever.

2. Don’t throw out healthy eating . I will need the healthy nutrients to get me thru the day rather than the empty calories from junk food.

3. Refrain from mindless stress eating. I will regret it later on and since it’s typically junk food or high calorie foods I’ll feel yucky and bloated later on.
