Mom’s Rejuvenate by throwing out your to do list
Posted by: | CommentsAs busy mom’s we have a never ending to do list. Every time we cross off one item there are three more to replace them. When was the last time you did doing nothing? This isn’t a trick question. If the only time that comes to mind was when you were deathly ill in bed, that doesn’t count. Devote a part of your Memorial weekend to do nothing. No email, no phone calls, no cleaning etc. Taking some down time will rejuvenate you and refill your energy stores so you can tackle with more ease the challenges of being a busy mom.
Reduce Stress: A trick to get little one’s to wash their hands
Posted by: | CommentsI finally figured out how to get my son to wash his hands without reminding him half a dozen times which lead to a crying fit because I’d have to force him to clean his hands. It got so bad that he’d try not to use the bathroom to get around washing his hands. Well of course that didn’t last very long until we had an emergency on our hands. I was pretty fed up and then I had an idea. So I went out and bought some special hand soap just for him to use. It’s a dinosaur that flashes a light for twenty seconds which is how long he’s suppose to wash his hands for. It worked!! Now my guy is happy to wash his hands with his soap and will announce to me his hands are clean as he shoves them in my face to smell them. Here is a photo with my son cheesing with his soap.
